Celebrate Recovery

FIND FREEDOM, FIND COMMUNITY

About CR at The Way

Celebrate Recovery at Newton Church of the Way is a Christ-centered recovery class for anyone seeking freedom from life’s hurts, habits, and hang-ups. In a safe, grace-filled community, we invite you to experience hope, healing, and growth through biblical teaching, honest sharing, prayer, and the support of others walking a similar journey.

Our vision is to serve God and His Kingdom by helping others strip off their old sinful nature and anchor their faith in Jesus Christ. Through the Spirit’s renewing power, we seek to stop denying our hurts, habits, and hang-ups, and instead embrace the steps and principles of Celebrate Recovery as a pathway toward honesty, healing, and lasting transformation.

Together, we will confront the destruction caused by our old lives and step into the light of Christ by accepting His abundant grace. Celebrate Recovery offers a place to belong before you have it all figured out.

*NEW* Step Studies for Men and Women!

Celebrate Recovery Step Study is a Christ-centered journey through the 12 Steps and 8 Recovery Principles, designed to help participants experience healing. In a safe, confidential, gender-specific group, participants work through the Celebrate Recovery participant guides, share honestly, build accountability, and grow in their relationship with God and others.

Step Study is where the deeper work of recovery happens. Participants examine their lives, identify areas of pain or unhealthy patterns, and take practical steps toward freedom, forgiveness, and lasting change.

This study is for anyone who is ready to move beyond denial, take an honest spiritual inventory, make peace with God and others, and continue growing in Christ. Whether the struggle is emotional, relational, spiritual, or related to addiction or compulsive behavior, Celebrate Recovery Step Study offers a pathway toward hope, healing, and restoration.
