Welcome to Baxter!

My wife Sara and I have been married for 17 years and have been blessed with two daughters, Kaylee and Sophia. We have been actively attending the Newton Church of The Way for over 15 years and continue to experience the transformation and the hope that faith in Christ brings. We have served in many capacities over the years and we have seen God move powerfully both in our own lives and the lives of others. Sara has a heart for children and loves to invest in the lives of the next generation. She’s also passionate about connecting with others and gathering together in Christian community. I have spent the last 7 years leading the men’s ministry at the Newton campus. I have a passion for exploring the depth and the richness of the Bible and for helping others to find their own love of the scriptures. I recognize some of the challenges and uncertainties that we may face in life and yet I have experienced a hope and peace that can transcend those circumstances. My desire is to help others to find that same hope and freedom.

It is with great excitement that our family steps forward to join the Baxter Church of The Way and its initiative to launch a new weekly service. We’re eager to follow this calling from God that has been so clearly placed before us. We’re looking forward to meeting and building many new relationships with the people of the Baxter community.

Our deep hope for the Baxter campus is to be a place where people can encounter the truth and the good news of Jesus Christ, experience the fellowship of a Christian community, and to be fueled into a life built upon something greater than themselves.
