A little about us!
My wife, Sara, and I are blessed with two daughters, Kaylee and Sophia. Our family has been actively involved at the Newton Church of The Way for many years, continually experiencing the transformation and hope that faith in Christ brings.
Our family has been blessed to serve in many ways over the years, witnessing God move powerfully in our lives and the lives of others. Sara has a heart for children and loves investing in the next generation. She is also passionate about connecting with others and fostering Christian community.
I have dedicated myself to leading men’s ministry, exploring the depth and richness of the Bible, and helping others develop a love for Scripture. I understand the challenges and uncertainties life can bring, yet I have experienced the hope and peace that faith in Christ provides. My desire is to help others in the Baxter community to find that same hope and freedom.

Our deep hope for the Baxter campus is to be a place where people encounter the truth and good news of Jesus Christ, experience the fellowship of a Christ-centered community, and be fueled to build their lives on something greater than themselves.
We desire a church that feels like family—where deep relationships are formed, where prayer and accountability strengthen us, and where we walk alongside one another in faith. Together, we seek to follow God’s calling with love and purpose.

Plenty of parking is available on the street and right in front of the building.
Entrance:
The main entrance is clearly marked under the sign.

Casual, Welcoming Atmosphere: Feel free to come as you are, whether in jeans, sneakers, or your Sunday best.
Families Are Welcome: We offer busy bags with fun activities for little ones to keep them entertained during the service.
Uplifting Worship:
Enjoy contemporary music and sing along
or simply listen.

Be inspired by a relatable, Scripture-based talk that speaks to everyday life.
Friendly Community:
Our team and congregation are here to make you feel right at home.

The Rock Youth Group meets at 4:15pm on Sundays and is a place for middle school and high school students to connect, grow in faith, and build lasting friendships. Led by Nathan and Ashley Smith, who have a deep love for Jesus and a passion for the youth of the Baxter community, our youth group is dedicated to creating a fun and supportive environment for students to thrive.
Each week, a meal is provided for the youth, creating a time of fellowship and connection before diving into meaningful discussions and activities.
Our group is also accompanied by a miniature dachshund, a beloved mascot who adds some extra joy to the gatherings!
