Women’s Ministry

1 Peter: A Living Hope in Christ By Jen Wilkin | Thursdays Beginning September 14

Our inheritance through Christ is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading. In 1 Peter, a man of faith and flaws and eyewitness to the life of Christ challenges us to look beyond our current circumstances to a future inheritance. He shares his concerns on big picture issues for the early church, describes believers’ true identity in Christ, and ultimately helps readers discover what it means to experience the Living Hope they have in Christ.
Key themes of humility, submission, and identity in Christ guide the study of 1 Peter as participants are challenged to read the book in its entirety each week.
9 Sessions – Workbooks approx. $13.00

From Women’s Ministry Leader

The participants in Women’s Book and Bible Study are making a choice to honor God by seeking him in the Word through a structured study with other women. We form lifelong friendships with each other through laughter, tears, and prayer, learning from each other while learning about Jesus.

This is not a history lesson. It is learning to know Jesus intimately so that we can recognize him in our own lives. He makes us better wives, moms, daughters, sisters, employees, and friends. We need him in all aspects of our lives. His word is a precious gift to be opened and enjoyed over and over. It is always new, always relevant, and always a blessing.

Getting into the word is life changing—you will never be the same, and that is the point. We are looking forward to going deeper with you!

God Bless!

“For this reason we also constantly thank God that when you received the word of God which you heard from us, you accepted it not as the word of men, but for what it really is, the word of God, which also performs its work in you who believe.” – 1 Thessalonians 2:13
